Cover, lettering, and illustration for Monolit – corporate magazine of Kovalska Industrial-Construction Group. The cover story was focused on Kyiv city housing development: from soviet and modern prefab flat blocks to innovative residential buildings. To me, Kyiv is a chaotic, restless and somewhat aggressive city, with a few truly charming places. A lot of real estate developments are illegal, one can meet several types of architecture within a couple of streets, and Kyiv citizens don’t seem to care much about their city. Still, as time passes, that attitude slowly changes.
